Coil question

Good morning all,

A snowy one here in WV. Have been reading some good things about 10.5 DD MF coils, but when i look where to buy one, all i see is 10 DD MF for 165.00. Are they the same thing? Doesn't seem like a half inch would make much difference.

If it is a genuine Minelab coil, then it is in fact a 10.5" coil regardless of how it's listed by the retailer.

As a matter of fact, I can tell by the pic that it's a 10.5" MF DD.

I just ordered a 6" coiltec DD 3khz because i've read a lot of good things about it, too. I can't find my 3khz concentric and i miss it a lot, so i want to see how this DD 3khz does. I want the 10.5 too, and will order it later on...

Don't know if you saw my post where I have a 9" 3khz, concentric coil for sale. The 6" coil you just ordered and the 9" are both waterproof, but the 9" is going to be a deeper seeking coil. The 9" is like new and I'm sure a lot cheaper than the 6". I also have the 10.5" 18.75khz coil for sale in the same ad.

Hey Jimz49, i see you just sold the coils! I might have bought the 9-3khz, because i still can't find the one i used to have; but, about the time i bought a replacement it'd be sure to show up. I do congratulate your buyer on getting a good deal on the 9- 3khz, because that one was always my favorite.

Still have the 10.5 HF, 18.75khz coil. There are a lot of people that like that size coil and the price is right.

Tempting, but i want it in a MF. I have a 5 x 10 in HF and don't like it too much.
