Coil recommendation?

I'ved always liked both the 11" DD or 5" X 10" DD Commander coil, for relic hunting.

Use these about 90% of my gpx usage, The remainder use a 15" DD Detech for open areas.

Paul I appreciate your replies to my posts. You are definitely getting me going in the right direction.

same here as far as running the stock and 5x10. That 5x10 works great in tighter spots and I'm referring both to under brush and trashier sites.

By the way soky, I got the tip from Paul on that coil when I was first looking into the GPX :bouncy:

I run the 15x12 size almost exclusively any more for relic hunting... you gain quite a bit of depth over stock and a lot of ground coverage. I switch between two... the Detech 15x12 SEF for open areas and the 15x12 Commander DD for places where the open design would hang up. The Detech also gets used when I'm tired of swinging the heavier solid coil. :)
