Coil Stabilizer

Finished a coil stabilizer today for my excalibur. I wanted to say thanks to Clive, since i borrowed the basic design from your book. I slimmed it down then reinforced it and this is what i came out with. Not adjustable like the kind you can buy at metal detecting businesses but custom angle to my detectoring. Thanks again Clive for the design!!!

Nice I haven't the need for one yet on my DF but I like this design, the plexi one I saw would be too much added resistance in the water, its bad enough already... this would be minimal like it is.

yeah i had one of those on my old Surf Pi years ago. It was not fun trying to detect in water with it on. It pushed water like crazy. Specifically made this one with water dynamics in mine!
