Just got a coiltek 10x5 and took it out for a quick spin. Went to a spot that I have hit several times with a CTX Got a 1906 indian head right next to a sidewalk. Will post pic after some soaking

The fatties in 1860s run in low twenties with nickel content and regular IH's run 28 to 31 here in Illinois I cannot find a piece of silver to save my life this year but I have found over 17 fatties trying to find gold this year I lowered my normal hunting discrimination and started to hit all these nickel IH's they come out of soil red, just like our nickels.I am pretty sure I was knocking these out all these years because they were in pull tab range but higher than nickel.

I pretty much dig everything above an 11. I know I might be missing a thing or two, but really get tired of digging foil crap. Numbers in the 20's I like. Seems like some weird things come out in that range. Silver has been good so far this year for me. Indian heads though I have not found one in probably a couple of years. Probably because most of the houses I hunt are from the 40"s
