Coiltek 6" Digger Coil

Like many people I can be quick to criticize and sometimes slow to praise BUT I want praise Coiltek. I want to thank Trevor Ferraresso at Coiltek in Phoenix, Az for really great service. Thanks also to Bart of Big Boys Hobbies for the referral to him. I had the 6" Digger coil for a couple of months and was never happy with the performance. As time went on it became even more unstable and impossible to ground balance. I finally called Bart and subsequently sent the coil back to Coiltek in Phoenix. I sent it UPS ground on a Monday and received a brand new coil on the following Thursday, just 10 days later and it took 5 days to get there. You can't ask for better service. Thanks guys, great job. I tried it out in my back yard and it works great.

I'm glad that you got it straightened out too Del! You're really going to like that coil.

Jim,
Next time don't send UPS. Go the USPS route. Its way cheaper, will get there usually in less than 3 days and I truly believe they are less destructive.
Congrats on getting your coil back, hope it finds you some great stuff!

Gotta agree there. I watched a UPS driver deliver a package to a house the other day, and I was appalled be how he handled the package. He rang the door bell, dropped the package from standing height, turned around and typed it in as he walked back to his truck. I don't care if it was just a book or whatever. All I could think of was, if that were my package, I would be pissed! USPS all the way!

The last couple of detectors I bought and sold I used USPS. One I shipped on Saturday and it arrived on Monday. Another shipped on Friday, arrived next day. Both were around $14 with insurance.
