I’ve never found anything but new coins and lead sinkers there,however if you go hunt the high sand towards the dunes as that is where I’ve seen them found on utube vid...if this past weekends weather disturbance moved any sand you just might get lucky... I believe they are presently replenishing Dewey beach..

I go there every year about a week, amazing what you don't find. Most times beach is packed blanket to blanket. Find something Silver every year, around $16 to $18 in change. Six years never any Gold. But you got to hunt Very early or in the evening.
Wife and I always have a great time ducking in and out of the Establishments.
