Coin cleaning

I recently found a walking liberty half on the beach. I made a homemade electrolysis that works pretty good on copper, but didn't use it. I boiled the half in peroxide instead. It turned kind of dark... i suppose because it had been exposed to the salt beach for a period of time. So i try something that i hadn't heard anyone mention. I put it in vinegar over night. It made it a little dull, but it really cleaned it up and brought out the features.
