Coin sandwiched between 2 nails

A friend of mine has told me that a coin sandwiched between 2 nails can't be seen by his XP Deus and that no detector is able to do that. I've seen many nail tests on youtube with coins near or between 2 nails, but none of them with the coin actually "sandwiched". Is he right? Is that hypothetical scenario out of reach with current metal detectors technology?

Depending on the size of the nails you're talking about, try it with a compass 77b. That can see through two or three Nails right on top of a coin. But as I say, depends on the size of the nails you're talking about.

You ain't never lied! :please:
Sometimes obsolete, is not! In certain situations you can be surprised what old tech can do. (Monte keeps one handy too.) NASA Tom mentioned this once too.
And you can set the unit to the mineral side to check; conductors will null and iron will sound. You can pick these units up dirt cheap too.

I found another video that answers my question, here in case anyone cares to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNLvDlrnZ9s

Thanks everybody!
