coin shooting

heber man

New member
Hello everyone! I am new to the forum, and a new T2 owner, I live in central Arkansas. Just wondering does anyone have a good program for coin shooting? I mainly hunt old schools, sandy areas and parks. Any info would be helpful. Thanks, heber man

Welcome to the T2 world. I mainly relic hunt, but I coin hunt when ever I can. If I'm in a trashy area and don't want to dig everything I will hunt in disc. 80, sens. as high as I can get it, 80 to 90, and mode 2+. Some people like other modes but since relic hunting I have gotten used to the 2+ mode so I can hear the iron. At the beach I like mode 2+ and dp, if it isn't too trashy. If you hunt with disc. 10 you will hear everything so you can decide what to dig by the ID number. The more you hunt and try different things the more you will learn and get used to the T2 and what it will do. It will not take long to really get used to the T2 and really start finding some good stuff. Don't under estimate the targets is the pull tab range I have found 2 gold rings in that range. If you start out digging everything it will not take long to really understand the T2 and what it is telling you. If you go back through the forum you can learn a lot of stuff from every body's posts. Good luck and happy hunting.

Rings that can in at the pull tab range. 1925 class ring.
