Coin Tracking Software

OK Guys this is what I come up with. This is made from Filemaker Pro and is an unlimited database. You hit New record and fill out the fields that apply. After your Coins are entered which does include a scanned picture from both sides, you can then search from any field. This will bring up your records and any record you feel you want to share, you simply hit print to PDF from the button and a PDF pops up with a description of your coin and a picture of both sides. You simply Email the PDF to your friends or save it to someplace like Drop Box and post it on the web. See the attached

Thanks for posting the info..Will play with it tonight, try and figure what I have done wrong...Every time I go for the drop box, it asks if I want to make a donation to the Salvation Army...Then "Rock of Ages" comes out of the speakers?????????????????? Thanks again for taking the time to share your expertise...I know virtually nothing about computers and how to "navigate"..What I really hate is getting stuck, and having the computer ask me questions I don't understand...like DO you want this web site to make changes to your computer? why should it?? Time to call New Deli up and try and get the kids at IYogi to earn the money they got from me

All that you should have to do is click one time on the link and it will open an adobe document for you. I plan on adding an enlarged picture for each side tonight. Of course this will be automatic and no actions by the user would be required.

I will give this to anybody that wants it but it is not free. You will have to have Filemaker Software 9.0 or above to run the database. You can download a free trial version off the Filemaker site.

I wanted this to keep track of exactly what old coins I have. This makes it easy to find any date or search for any information that identifys a coin or token.

The pictures were not required but it is very nice to have access to.

I have had quite a bit of experience making databases. I made all the Software that our Police Dept uses in the Office and in the cars, so I do know how to do this correctly.
