Coins N gold today

Hit some parks this morning, worked them over real well and dug 2 gold pieces and 88 coins. A lot of coins but considering I went to about 7 parks not a big average. But I don't care - had fun & was rewarded.

Here's a 10 K ring,neat design and the Catholic pendant is stamped 10 K. I couldn't see any stamp on the back at all but it sure looked gold. Then I remembered they frequently stamp the karat on the finding - the loop that the chain goes through. Sure enough there it was.

getting harder to find as more people are out detecting. I only dug about 7-8 coins at each of the two sites where I got the gold. One has to work harder & figure things out more to survive. Steve

Well, remember also Steve with you detecting like you do, the goodies soon disappear and they may not be replenished as often as they used to be with the economy like it is and I know many more are getting detectors as gifts and detect, but many will lose heart to keep on going, when they have to work hard to get the prizes!
