Cold day but the Eldorado is still hot!:super:

Haven't had much to show for a while but got to a couple of schools today. Just got my Eldo back from repairs. Damp and about 0 degrees C but scored a few coins then an iffy signal. Thought it was deep but a bit of it was near the surface. Almost didn't dig it when the probe didn't find it. Dug a plug and the end of a necklace showed up. Down a little further and pulled out a nice 925 Italy rope style necklace. 17 inches and 7.7 grms. :detecting:Never found many chains so I'm happy on a cold day. 26 coins for $4.22
Good luck to all, HH, and stay safe.

Finding a silver necklace would make anyone's day.

Just curious what were settings? Also where does the necklace discriminate out? Lower than zinc? Higher than pull tab?

Nice intact necklace, and a good amount of clade,

Nice finds! Chains must be tough to find, I haven't found one yet.

You have to run low discrimination and be lucky enough to get your coil over one.

There are less necklaces and bracelets lost than rings are lost.

I always hunt in AM then check with discrim. Setting on the company mark about 11 o'clock. Even below Zinc, I get a reading at about 1 inch. A good thickness of rope chain and had both connectors still on it. Probably helped.
Cheers
