Cold Producing More Sacs

It got up to -10 yesterday....I was going to do a snow hill hunt, but there were sooooo many out taking advantage of the milder weather on the hills with their toboggans, that I will have to wait until another day. So, I grabbed some sacs, banged, drilled,burred and pounded for a while to make another batch of these Sacagawea Dollar coin rings.

John: During the Korean War the ship that I was on was sent to the war zone and ended up taking an around the world cruise. There was a fair amount of spare time and a few of the mates got silver half dollars and drilled a hole in the center and put a nail thru it. Then they beat on the edge of the coin with a spoon until it shaped down to ring size. They looked nice but there was a lot of time involved. That was the good old days when there was silver in the coins........................... Get Dirty.....Dirty Don

Have you come across any silver ones yet. I have several.. Nice pile. Glad to see you're staying busy. It's about 50 degrees here and rainy.Snow is mostly gone and I am glad. Being trapped in this house for a week about drove me nuts.
