Cold Windy Relic Hunt

7centsworth

Well-known member
I hunted for 4 hours today . The first three and a halve I had only found about three bullets. The last thirty minutes I decided to try a place about 80 yards away and man did it pay off. A few dropped and a few shot and one unidentifiable button.

Looks like a nice haul!! Congrats!! Can't wait till the temps. go up this week, might be able to get some of those type hunts in!

Looks like determination paid off for you.. nice finds!!!
I bet it didn't feel too cold while you were digging that lead Huh??

The first three hours was a little chilly, but the last hour I got hot digging.

Proof that sometimes you just need to go with your gut feelings. Great digs!

I'm hoping that we get a break between the rain that's going to make the snow go away in a couple days and the return of the cold. It's been three weeks since I dug my last plug.

wow. great finds, congrats.

now that's pretty darn cool that you are able to find some old CW 3 ringers in your area. I'm lucky if I find 1 or 2 a year.

Congrat's

Most all I find are 69 caliber and I can not figure that out. I do find some 58's and 50's but mostly 69's. It don't matter to me I like them all.
