That’s killer. Do you need to have a rocky bottom to hunt this way? Where I’m at there isn’t a stone for miles. It’s all sand in the creeks and rivers. I’ve dug like new cans at 15”. Is there just no point in water hunting sandy creek beds? I have some water spots that would be right on colonial areas but I’ve never tried because things just sink into oblivion it seems like

That's what you want no gravel easy digging! nice finds calabash!

Sand is tough....artifacts can be hidden from the eye. If your detecting it is still tuff because it can fill back in .
