See how the Buttondigger got his name.

Sorry for the cold. Got me under the weather.
Warning I'm not a video specialist ;)

Looks like a great hunt, here it is next to impossible to find a virgin area. Thanks for sharing.

It was but I feel one more trip will finish it off. But you never know. Thanks

I really enjoyed your vid. Amazing clarity, much better than most. Coming from an area with a foot of snow and temperatures near zero I can't wait for warmer weather. I agree with you on finding buttons. As long as I can dig something old that I can date I am a happy camper. Also the more I use the Deus the more I love it's versatility. It is becoming my favorite detector.

Keep up the good work,

Dalpal

Thanks friend. I have tried many cameras but that Playsport z5 is the best.

Thanks for sharing the dig with us! I managed to get myself into a few colonial spots this past summer and dug some very nice buttons. Here are just a couple along with some coins that I dug the same day. I'm definitely going to take the Deus back to these places! I look forward to your next video. I was thinking about getting some sort of camera glasses to try to record some of my digs live. Maybe I can learn something from them, if nothing else.

Love those. I just keep the video simple. The Playsport Z5 is cheap and takes nice hd video.

Great video! Looks like you found a great place to spend a few more days with the Deus! Id like to take some video of a fairgrounds hunt, but it's across the street from a busy trainyard and directly under the approach path of Memphis Intl Airport - so noisy doesnt even start to describe it at times. Id have some commentary on some of my unusual finds, but I'd be competing with train cars slamming together and landing passenger and FedEx jets...

I cant wait to get out to a rural site...much less noise, no rocks, no trash - it will be a virtual hunting paradise!!! Keep the vids coming and HH!

Thanks for sharing
That key handle is really cool

When you stated you were going to switch programs, I said to myself 'he is going to Deus Fast'. It's a great program, and it looks like you did real well using it. Keep at it at that site.

Thanks friend. Deus Fast was modified to 5 disc. full tones reactivity 3, iron volume off. From Gary in the UK.

Great video Geo and I can see how you earned the name (Button Digger) :)

Now you've got me thinking about getting an XP Deus

Recently picked up an XP GoldMaxx Power and it's a fantastic machine! But can see how one can cherry pick targets or if needed pass up certain trashy targets with a Deus. The XP GoldMaxx Power sold me with having a lighting fast recovery speed in iron laced sites and the three tone feature is a plus so I know the XP Deus should be at least equal as the XP GoldMaxx performance wise but the target ID and different types of hunting modes is a big plus with the Deus!

This button video of yours really is cool opens up my defense guard to look more into a Deus in the distance future, A good friend of mine here in the valley once had a Deus and an extremely good hunter as well so going to ask him how the Dues handles our dirt and how it does as a relic hunter.

Hope you make more videos in the future! Such a joy to view

Thanks old friend. The snow is gonna put a halt to that for another week.

Leave this baby alone.

Hi john,

Agreed, The Deus shaft is light years ahead of the others luckily my newer XP GoldMaxx Power model has the same shaft setup. Really amazed how quickly it collapses down in a matter in seconds and can be carried to and from the field using part of the shaft as a handle, This I like allot!

Was looking at a video on the net with I believe the XP Company putting the new shaft though an unbelievable durability test, They actually were running over the handle lock collar portion and arm-rest portion with a car didn't even faze the shaft. Boy I made a wise investment getting this shaft setup on the XP GoldMaxx Power now if I do get a Deus in the future already know it's one tough shaft yet light as a feather

Take care john,
Paul (Ca)

That's for sure! The Deus shaft is as best as it's going to get

All I did was add an arm-strap to the arm-rest, Over the years my Popeye arms have shrunk now with most arm cups my arm slaps around the cup without an arm strap.

Plus, Found with too big of an arm cup on most shafts tend to feel sloppy so with an arm-strap most if not all of the sloppy shaft wiggle goes away. With this arm-strap on the Deus arm-cup it's rock solid no play what so ever, Really like it allot!

Take care old friend,
Paul (Ca)

Paul,

Didn't know the XP Goldmaxx Power came with the option to get that shaft.

Good call getting that one. That set up is great and I like the fact that it can collapse down into such a small footprint, I can leave it locked up in the backseat of my truck as opposed to keeping in the bed ( which has a cap on it but the locking mechanism on the windows isn't too secure).

Just piece of mind knowing the Deus is in a safe spot if I go into a store for some grub and coffee. Heck, I can take the darn control box in with me if I had too !!!
