Coming back to the etrac family

I purchased another etrac as a back up for my ctx which has been sent in for repair twice in the last two months ( very unreliable detector in my mind) each repair takes roughly 26 days before I get my unit back. So each season I should get a couple months use with the etrac if averages keep up.

Welcome Home Spanish Silver!

Sorry to hear you are having repair issues with your new toy, but on the bright side, we are glad to have you back for a little while.

I was thumbing through some old outing records I found from the late 80-'s up to present and was reflecting back on detectors I've used over the years. (Surprising number of detectors I've bought and sold) Some were a passing fling that that didn't last long, a few held strong for years. My old Minelab Explorer XS and now my E-trac seems to have been Long Term relationships.

There are a lot of enticing detectors out there. But, I really like my E-trac. Pleasant to hunt with, relatively easy to use. Powerful. Has a good nose for coins.

Anyway, hope you get things with the CTX squared away and that you make some great finds with the E-trac while you're waiting.

I've had the same problems with my AT Pro (which I use for water hunting in the summer). Sent it back 3 different times and now sending it back again so I'll have it before summer gets here... Sure is frustrating :ranting:
