Communicating with my Deleon

I've had my Deleon for 3 years now, and today I tried listening to what it was trying to tell me rather than what I thought I should be hearing. I left with more money and some other goodies than I've found since last year. I hate it when I find out my metal detector is smarter than I am!
 
If u listen to it well enough it will tell alot I have found alot of rings with the DeLeon by the chatter the D makes going over them!
 
Learning the language to determine wether to dig or not is the best way and then utilize the ID for an indication of what the item could be. I had a high end detector with many bells and whistles and when I finnally learned this method, my finds increased.
