Compadre with8" Coil

I have used them both and I can't tell any difference only that the 8" is deeper and i have never changed my internal settings

Bigger coils are normally less sensitive. With the Compadre I dont think it will be much of a problem. I actually like a slightly less sensitive coil on some detectors. The Compadre finds me a lot of foil. I almost never find foils with my Sovereign. But I also never find small gold chains.

One time I found the head from a horshoe nail at a measured 8" with a SSumax and the 8" coil. The signal was surprisingly strong considering the small size of the target.
