compare

Don't have an X-5 to compare it anymore but from past experience with one ... I'm sure of it ... in my neck of the woods anyway and I think it will do an even better job once the new coils come out. Don't know about comp hunts ... the X-5 is very fast and hard to beat there for sure.
I've already pulled several 9-10" deep silver coins with the X-terra and they locked on good and read right on the depth, it has a very accurate depth meter.
I hit a 22 short shell yesterday that was so deep I'll refrain from posting it.
YES, it certainly has the makings of a great coin machine and it'll bang out them bullets in some awful bad dirt too.
H.H.

why do you want to know? I'm a long time user of the X-5's and given that the X-Terra has only been out for a week, it's a little early to give you much documented "same target" test data. When you say "deeper", are you wanting to know if ultimately one will hit a target that the other won't due to depth and or masking?
