Anyone ever use the Safari in the red iron bearing clay dirt of Virginia?
How about the Safari head to head with the F75

I've used mine in the red Ga. and Al. clay with no noticeable decrease in performance. No idea about the F75. The LTD version I hear is quite a good machine!

markg,

I have used the Safari at 3 DIV hunts in Culpeper, VA, home of the reddest iron rich dirt I have ever seen. The tones for lead are very different from what you would expect in good soil but brass rings true and loud. Takes some getting used to but the machine will find fairly deep stuff there.

My bud uses an F75 and we compared signals frequently when we were both learning our new machines. I believe that the Safari will find anything the F75 will.

Just a humble opinion,
TomH

Speed of recovery (junk encounters of the third kind) and depth

But hell I'm biased.... Go ask in there forum...
