Compass X80 repair

I have a Compass X80 that I bought new back in the mid 80's. She sat neglected for quite a few years, took it out and put batteries in and she wont even power up. Just wondering if anyone has info where I can send it for repair, or if its even worth it? I did inspect it for obvious signs of corrosion or loose solder joints and couldn't see anything. thanks

Hey there,
East Texas detectors can fix your X 80 right up. Talk to Keith Wills
over there. He's like the only Doc around that can repair the
Ol' Compass and Teknetics line of vintage detectors. He repairs
other makes also but Compass machines are his Specialty!!!
Hope this helps you out and get that baby rejuvenated.

Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to check it out. Thought it would be kinda fun to take the old girl out hunting again
