Compass XPPro Scanner

I had an XP Pro for a couple of months several years ago and it was darn good for coin hunting. Like most detectors with preset ground balance it was set too positive from the factory for the mild ground here, but no problems getting dimes down to 6-7 inches and quarters an inch or more deeper. It was better for hunting in ferrous trash than most, and the notch feature allowed skipping a lot of trash when hunting only coins.

I used one for several years a few years back. Made some of my best finds with it. A couple of years ago I told my dealer if he got in a nice XP Pro to let me know. He did. I messed around with it in the shop. But I had gotten so used to lighter detectors, I decided not to buy it.....Jack
