Computer guys... having a weird problem I can'r figure out... <NDC>

I wasn't sure where to ask this question since it doesn't really fit anywhere so...

For the lst couple of weeks when I use Facebook I get logged out a lot... it is getting worse and worse.. not I am getting randomly logged out of Findmall. I have never had this problem before I don't know where to look to fix this. FB is so bad tha I can no longer use it Findmall has logged me out 3 or 4 times in the last day.

I know about malware and virus stuff. I have run Malwarebytes anti-malware and i've run a Norton scan. I've tried deleting all my history, cookies, etc.

Any ideas about what might be causing this? I am going to run Hijackthis and take a look at the logfile to see if there is anything .exe that shouldn't be there.

I suspect some setting in IE8 got changed by something and I don't know what to check.

Thanks for any help...

<NDC> = No detector content.

First thing to do is run updates on your malware programs and antivirus programs. Reboot your computer and do your scans while in safe mode.

If they come back negative, try a system restore back to before it happened.

Yeah I always update and was about ready to try a system restore. It was the "in private" browsing that IE8 has. I was using some IP windows and some regular. I found that if I had used IP browsing and then used a regular session without dumping everything it would cause random logouts and often... I don't know why because I have usd IP browsing for some time but all of a sudden it wa a problem. I have an idea that it was because some of the sites are linked but not the same... not linked by me but one has the option to be linked like to Twitter and Facebook.. I think that was the problem. I stopped using IP browsing and the problam stopped but I have not visited the site in question either...

Thanks for the help...

BTW, I learned a few years ago how to remove malware using several programs if you ever start getting pop ups... I use AdAware, Spybot S&D, and Hijackthis... HJT is an awesome program that removes programs and exe files directly from the registry. You can use processlibrary.com to ID any exe file you're not sure of, you never want to accidentally delete a system file... laff.

Life is good again... and I learned something new!
