Concentric coil for T2 ?

No concentric coils that I know of for the T2.

Non produced thus far ........

D.J. says they are wired different. I'm not an engineer so I'm sure It made sense to them. Too bad though.

Not that I know of, I am getting another T2 soon, needed a machine to get in with the iron and eek out some targets, my mxt cant handle patches of iron apparently.

If the Fisher coil is wired different, it most likely is just the connector. If that's the case, it shouldn't be to hard to rewire the connector to fit on the T2.

If for some reason that is the case you could make a pigtail then the coil could be used on either detector.

The T2 circuit is designed specifically for DD searchcoils. There are not now and never will be concentrics available for it.

Dave J, is it the same for the F19, G2+ ? There are no specific concentric coils for them as well.

T2 searchcoils are peculiar to the T2 and not compatible with anything else or vice versa.

The GB-G2-F19 platform machines were designed to run on DD's originally developed for the Fratbros (Greek Series) machines, the transmit circuit of which accommodates both DD's and concentrics.

A 15'' Concentric coil on the T2 would be a beast depth wise,i can only dream of course, but who can tell what September could bring,if only my dream could come true ;)

Just consulted my crystal ball and it tells me my dream could come true with my wish

I'll try my F5 concentric on my F19 and see what happens. It's almost completely blind to bottle caps.

I use an F70 and love the standard concentric coil on it.
Something about the sound and response with this thing is awesome and unique, the tones on good targets are special and "sweet"...the only way I know how to describe it and most pop tops are never a problem.
That being said the coils I use the most are still DD's, the large F75 and especially the small round sniper.
In a crazy site I hunted once with more iron than you might believe possible that sniper came though big time and enabled me to pick out the non ferrous targets easily, once I experimented, practiced and learned how, and shocked me many times.

I actually learned 2 ways to hunt in extreme iron over time, one using maxed out thresh, sense and all metal, another using extremely high settings in disc as low as possible before switching to all metal using one tone.
What I learned there I was able to repeat with great success at other iron heavy sites after with the DD's.

The T2 should be no less effective using a DD coil with the right knowledge and experience.
