They are the first town in the country to band platic bottle.As of the first of the year they've banned plastic bottles under 16 oz.s.It's a good thing,hope the rest of the country join the battle.
 
While I agree that we have a problem with trash I suspect that this is more of Big Nanny Government controlling what we can and can not do.
 
Plastic ketchup bottles, Mustard bottles, soda bottles, juice bottles and every other plastic bottle is still ok. So what difference does it make to ban just plastic water bottles? It's just another way for Govt. officials to tell you what you can do, buy or consume. Personally I hope they water companies come out with glass bottles then they can have the problem of cleaning up broken glass all over town...........
