Conduct Vs Ferrous

Hi y'all! So just what exactly happens differently between these tow modes? I tried searching and didn't find much on it, maybe didn't have the right keywords. In other words, leaving all settings the same and using the same pattern but switching between Conduct and Ferrous, what differences am I likely to see?

I'll get out and give it a go soon myself but curiosity is killin' me...

Thanks!!

+1...that link just about sums it up. Takes awhile to get used too but it works well once you have confidence in what your machine is telling you.

I use conductive multi-tone. I love the etrac better than the ctx. I just pulled a 9" 1964 dime this weekend. In dry, hard dirt, I was dying to get down to that target. In conductive, just discrim out the iron. But get used to checking targets in auto-all metal. It helps.
