Found these in my yard last night.
The items in Question are the Key and the bullet like thing.
has anyone ever seen markings on a key like this one?
The brass bullet like object is tooled in the middle as to get a grip on it to twist it?
And has a 1mm pinhole in the tip.

Thanks for your help

I believe the brass object is what they used to call a scratch all. They looked like an ice pick. But on yours the pick part has rusted away.

NO its to big,its diameter is as large as a dimes circumference.
It would drop like a rock!!!

Need more info.
From the pic, at the top of the bullet like thing, looks like it might have a lead core, is it?
Also what is the exact diameter of it?

What does the bottom of that thing look like? If its hollow and maybe threaded then Rusty nailed it.

Does the small 1mm (.040") hole go all the way through it?

If it has a lead core, its likely a large caliber possibly muzzle loader unfired bullet. Some lead bullets are knurled to better engage the barrel rifling and/or help a tighter seat in its brass case but never seen a brass bullet knurled. Its possible, just never seen one.

Thanks for your input,I have Had a lot of leads on this one!!!
Some think its a cap to a tire(Shrader valve cap),Maybe a Blow tourch tip, A LP GAS orfis?
I have not taken the dirt out to see if the wide end is threaded ,IT has to be!!! or correct me if I am wrong.
There are no oring compression marks. So HEAR WE GO AGAIN I should take a pole ? IF you guys want me to dig the the dirt out
and clean it out let me know and I will repost it with some sort of POLL!

Thanks ,AS Always you guy are VARY HELPFUL

Looks to me like the tip of a garden sprayer. If it were a bullet the knurled part would extend all the way to the base like the bullet pictured.

You nailed it and a couple of others did two on other fourms!!!
I cleaned it out 10 minuts ago just for u!! It took 9 shots to get the pic just right
so enjoy the threads:drool:

Thanks
SPUD:garrett:DIGS DEEP!!!

why we posting it again, we already ID`d it, its a spray nozzle of a weed sprayer ...
