Connecticut copper found..help

[attachment 60498 DSCF0098.JPG][attachment 60499 DSCF0101.JPG]My Friend found a Connecticut Copper with his T2. He's pretty excited since it was only his third time out . We can't read the Date . I checked the Red Book ,the three coins that look pretty close to it , are the 1786 copper Draped Bust and the 1787,and 1788 Draped Bust Facing left . But it's not exactly like any of them . Would any one know what year it is . Thanks for you help .

Most of those state coppers have many different varieties that the red book doesn't have the space to show 'em all.
I would start seaching online....

Bill thank you. Needless to say , he's pretty happy with the find . there should be allot more suppresses in the ground .The house has never be detected before .... Lucky Him
