conquistador

I have a chance to pick up a conquistador for a little and was hoping some one on here could tell me if they are any good.thank you for your response

If you're talking about a Conquistador umax version they're very comparable to the Silver Sabre umax. I have both and have been pretty well pleased with either. They are good coin machines in parks and tot lots and excellent for planted club hunts. The Conquistador has the advantage of a frequency shift switch which can be useful if cross talk with another detector or electrical interference is a problem. Also, it has a switch for discrimination or all metal mode which will let one run continually in all metal if desired. The SSumax only has an all metal pinpoint. If the price is good, I'd go for it.

she wanted 150.. but i asked what was the least she would take for it and she came down to 125.00..I havent seen it yet she said it is 6 years old and had belonged to her late husband and still looked new

can get it for 125.00 she said it is 6 years old and still looks new so i am not sure witch type it is would i be hurt at that price regradless what type it is?

Don't hold me to this, but personally I take great pride and take good care of my detector whether it be a $100.00 or a $1,000.00 detector & I find most others do too. I would be willing to guss that it is in very good condition and if so it is a steal at that price. Even if you had to send it in to the factory it would be still worth the $$$ (in my opinion). Steve.

If it is 6 years old, give or take it's the umax version and I'd buy at $125 if I didn't already have one.
