Converting ORX to Deus?

I don't know if this has been asked before or if it is just a stupid question; I have an ORX, if I were to purchase a replacement DEUS controller, would that make my detector able to work as a deus?
 
It will work but you can't use the ORX wireless headphones. So you would either need to buy a pair of wired backphones (about $25) or get a set of wireless WS4 or WS5 headphones or some other off-brand.
 
Depending on what coil you have with your ORX you would also need to have a recently software updated remote control. V. 4 for the HF coils V.5 for the X35 coils.
