Used the FA mode to find this today on a gravel bar in the lower than usual river here. Thats not a nail hole near the top so i dont know if this was tack welded onto something or what, although i dont see evidence of that either. It is fairly hefty and steel i think. I wonder if those kind of circular things under the chin are supposed to be like a shirt collar or maybe curls and its a lady, i just dont know. Quite the look on that face dont you think? CO
 
Neat find. I think you should clean it up real good and do a fancy paint job on it. Than you can sell it for $50.00. You never know who might buy it... KEN from In.
 
Reminds me of a Aztec, Mayan or Incan wearing a ceremonial headdress? That is a neat find...maybe someone wore it as a pendant at one time?
