Copper and Nickel and Copper/Nickel(fatty)...

I dug 3 indians at the park yesterday and all three of them were in the 1860's. The pretty 1868 was from an opportunity like Derrell had a few weeks ago.
The swing set was gone and the sand too, so I wasn't going home until I scanned that area! The 1868 was only down about 3 inches where they cleared out the sand. Nothing else there but clad though. The dates on the indians are 1863, 1867(holed) and 1868. The shield nickels are 1866 w/rays, and 1868. Wheats are 1910, 1912, and 1944. I used the 10 x 12 most of the day but honestly think I could have done better with the stock coil at this park because there is not much deep stuff there.

Congrats on a fantastic hunt!!! :clapping: Making them kinds of finds in an outing sure would be a thrill, especially when they are from the 1860's time frame. That is one old park! Hope you get back there and hit her hard again and bring home more oldies like those. That 1868 Injun is to die for also! Fantastic Condition! The Best of Luck to you and HH on your next hunt Neal!
