Cornfields

Does anyone have any tips on hunting a cornfield? Bean fields are fairly clean. corn fields are a lot different.

Walk the rows holding your coil at an angle away from you and to the base of the corn stocks. Do not swing it.

Sorry, I don't hunt fields. I know McLucky has hunted them before and it's a lot of work. But then it has paid off for him too! HH, Nancy

I swing my coil...sometimes I go with the rows...sometimes against...you just have to slow down...and come back after they disc no real tricks.

Thanks for the info. i have been hunting this field for a couple of years. have found a few coins. the corn stalks drive me nuts. the farmer never disc it so the stalks never get chopped up.
