Coronavirus Symptoms FYI I guess we have all seen versions of this of late but pretty simple description just in case. This seemed very helpful.

It now looks like the loss of taste and smell with any other symptoms appears to be a real warning sign that COVID-19 had hit you... Take care...

G..

I'm now hearing that some people just develop the runs, or belly ache and or nausea but never develop the respiration problems never knowing they got it...

Coronavirus Symptoms FYI

I guess we have all seen versions of this of late but pretty simple description just in case.

A friend of a friend of mine posted this on Facebook and I thought I would
send it along. Not a warm or hot weather virus! My friend is an Aussie so
the temperature she is referring to is in centigrade. (I've put the Fahrenheit equivalent in parenthesis.)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - CORONAVIRUS
Last evening dining out with friends, one of their uncles, who's graduated
with a medical degree and who worked in Shenzhen Hospital (Guangdong
Province, China) sent him the following notes on Coronavirus for guidance:
1. If you have a runny nose and sputum, you have a common cold
2. Coronavirus pneumonia is a dry cough with no runny nose.
3. This new virus is not heat-resistant and will be killed by a temperature
of just 26/27 C (78 F) degrees. It hates the Sun.
4. If someone sneezes with it, it takes about 10 feet before it drops to the
ground and is no longer airborne.
5. If it drops on a metal surface it will live for at least 12 hours - so if
you come into contact with any metal surface - wash your hands as soon as
you can with a bacterial soap.
6. On fabric it can survive for 6-12 hours. normal laundry detergent will
kill it.
7. Drinking warm water is effective for all viruses. Try not to drink
liquids with ice.
8. Wash your hands frequently as the virus can only live on your hands for
5-10 minutes, but - a lot can happen during that time - you can rub your
eyes, pick your nose unwittingly and so on.
9. You should also gargle as a prevention. A simple solution of salt in warm
water will suffice.
10. Can't emphasise enough - drink plenty of water!
THE SYMPTOMS
1. It will first infect the throat, so you'll have a sore throat lasting 3/4
days
2. The virus then blends into a nasal fluid that enters the trachea and then
the lungs, causing pneumonia. This takes about 5/6 days further.
3. With the pneumonia comes high fever and difficulty in breathing.
4. The nasal congestion is not like the normal kind. You feel like you're
drowning. It's imperative you then seek immediate attention.

This good tips on safe and identify on Corona virus. These tips keeps in our mind and always active. I use hot water as drinking water in the morning.

I think it's time to head to the Pilbera in Western Australia, swing the coil and look for gold. If the Wuhan virus (COVID-19) doesn't like the heat, the Pilbera will be the safest place on earth for me to be. Night time low of 80.6f and 109.4f in the shade...
If the HEAT doesn't kill first!?

You bible belt Americans are way too soft, I bet you'd vote for a social conformist like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez! That fool woman didn't know the difference between cash and a tax write-off.......

You staying safe over there? W'eve had one new case of Wuhan virus, first in nearly a week in Queensland, other states are dealing with the odd cluster or are nearly at zero. Almost all are returning immigrants from India or China, take a handful of Aspirin and lie about your contacts before you board the plane.... Other than that most of our cases were folks (retirees mostly) returning from holiday cruises on the plague ships, they in turn visited their family and passed the virus on. We followed DJT and went into a lock-down of sorts (Nowhere as harsh as the US one, but we have better state governments (some still socialist just not as stupid).) Schools closed, pubs and clubs closed (Victoria closed gun shops(?) as their advisers(?) warned of an impending spike in domestic violence which never eventuated) social gatherings were limited to just immediate family, testing was available but not mandatory.

Essential services remained fully staffed but their children were sent to school to be nursemaided, education went on line, my wifes school issues 'laptops' to all students and monitors their attendance (logins) and found that there was a better attendance rate than normal. Daughter who is a social worker (child protection) said that domestic violence took a big drop, drug use took a nosedive as police stopped cars on the road to ask what business they had to be out and about, shopping for essentials ok, visiting doctor or dentist ok, visiting or dropping off drugs "come with us". At first we had a 10k from home limit (shopping) then a 50k from home limit, I cycle for exercise so those were often broken quite often.... Now we have a 250k limit and school holidays fast approaching, interstate travel is closed and you need a permit to cross the border but we (family) should be able to travel out to Stanthorpe and day trip from there to visit the wineries if open and the gold fossicking areas but it will be the start of winter and nights will see a -5c average temperature.... A tad cold for the tent.....

This is a good You-tube channel to watch, fossicking for gold and a bit of history around my familys old stomping ground. https://www.youtube.com/user/19andrew72/featured

Stay safe.
