Cors scout coil for the t2

Active member
Has anyone put one on their t2? Thanks, Tom

I have the Scout for my Makro Racer. Excellent quality. Came with a coil cover and mounting hardware weight of coil is 17.3 oz without cover and 20 oz with cover. It's epoxy filled so the cover is not necessary. The standard Makro 7'X11" coil weights
18.4 oz so for it's size I feel it's very light. The rod mount is near the center of the coil so it swings nicely. Air test shows about 1.5" more depth than the 7X11". I feel that for the money, it's a way better coil than the Factory Tek coils.

Cool, thanks for the info. I've got a macro as well and a lighter coil would definitely help and being deeper to boot awesome! I would suppose the one for the t2 would be deeper than the stock coil. I like hunting with my t2 but needed to get a little more depth. It sounds like the scout may be the way to go.

I have one for my eurotek pro. It is noticeably deeper. Especially in all metal.
