Cost to upgrade Whites V3 to a V3i detector

Can anybody from Whites Detectors tell me what it costs to upgrade a Whites V3 to a V3i detector? I need to know by tomorrow morning the cost. Thanks,Norm Marsh

Used to be Upgrades are $100. All upgrades also incur a $25 return shipping fee.

I think they are 2 different detectors.(you need to buy a new one}..JT

If you can find a new V3, yes. The V3 is no longer made. Same detector different software. Maybe you were thinking of a VX3, again same detector different software and Whites won't upgrade it to a V3I.

Nope going back a few weeks there were a V3 selling New for $999 if my memory is correct with the price.
Hope if whites does another upgrade maybe to a V3i+ or V4 maybe the folks like myself
that have a V3iHP will also be able to upgrade,better then having to buy another detector.......JT

Before Carl left Whites he indicated there would be no upgrades for the V3i. Then the software engineer I worked with on the V3i also left whites. So I don't think, I would hold my breath. I liked the people who thought out of the box. Hmm

The last project I help test was the TRX. Right now I am out of the loop.

Nothing for nothing how much better can they improve the V3i?
I had a Garrett CX3 and I thought 20 years back can there be any improvements on that?
Same with the DFX I thought you could only improve it only a little
But I was wrong on all
Maybe the Next Whites will be a Home Run and will put out V3i too shame......JT

Rob, What have you been smoking??? I had my V3 upgraded "Software" to V3I for $100.00 at White's at Sweet Home. That's what nmarsh asked about is the software upgrade.

Jimmie you need to learn to read especially the whole post. I said there would probably be no upgrades for the V3i. You upgraded a V3 not a V3i. Why not try upgrading your V3i now that you have one.
