Yeah Bruce, I've had mine about the same amount of time. It hangs pretty tough against my 1500. Do you think the 10 by 14 coil makes all that much difference? How about the pinpointing with it?

My wife and I own 250's. There are 2 drawbacks for me. One, is that it is not calibrated for Canadian clad, so I have to hunt in all metal mode and that can drive you crazy in trashy locations. The other is the fixed g/b that does not allow good wet sand detecting. Other than that, the loot room is filling up nicely.

yea i have an ace 250.
i use my etrac mostly but my kids love the ace.
seems to be a good unit and i have no beef with it.
i recommend it all the time to folks.

Have the ACE 250 equipped with the Sniper coil for extreme thrashy areas .

I just picked up a Tejon for a bit more depth around fur trade sites, other wise I'm going into year three with my 250 and 9x12 coil. I have found wonderful relics/coins the last two years with the ACE and it's a keeper.

Owned a bunch of Garrets over the years. First one was a ...criminy....gone blank on it.. Was one of their original ones he came out with ADS maybe, just dont remember now. Had a CXII and a CXIII both of which were great machines. Trying to get a 2500 now to go with my DFX. Wouldnt mind having an Infinium though for sure.

I live in southeastern NC. I have had the Ace250 for a couple of years now. I used to have the old ADS series Garrett detectors. The 250 works great, I have forund silver and gold.

I started with the ace 250 then sold it to be able to buy my 1350,, but my wife still uses her 250 all the time

I have both ace models, started with the 150, now mainly use the 250, just got my sniper coil and pro pointer, can wait for rain to stop and warmer weather.

I have 2 ACE 250's with 1 4.5 Sniper, 3 6.5x9's,1 9x12, and 1 10x14 elliptical coils. Also a Pro Pointer. Now all I need now is warm weather......
