Could use some more prayer...

Julie is better but is far from well. Please remember to pray for her. I'm having a good time in Gatlinburg, but Tim and I had a HUGE fight last night. He is ALMOST acting like his "old self" - the way he used to act, and is being a big, Big, BIG, baby. Still pouting and giving me the silent treatment. We still have two nights and two days left here and I'd love for him to grow grow up and act like a human being. I'd appreciate it if y'all would lift him up in prayer... and me too. No need for the rest of the trip to miserable. I enjoyed my hike today in spite of the fact that he was a total *** and walked about 1/4 mile ahead of me most of the time. He went to bed this evening at 5:45 to pout.

I don't know so much about you always being right, but you all THINK you are - even when you wouldn't know right if it jumped up and bit you in the hunkus! ;-)

Praying for everyone! Kiss and makeup for Christmas will soon be here and the day shouldn't be spoiled! Have a nice time while there and a safe journey back home! Praying Julie will be feeling a whole lot better really soon! Ma Betty

Hey Lisa will keep you in my prayers. I've been watching the weather and that area may bet some SNOW. Earlier today they said it could be up to 24 inches. Wow wouldn't that be great. I'd love it (well probably not if my husband was pouting).

prayers on the way and don't let the sun go down on your anger.

...all it takes is a little humor to make a situation better and that was how I took Seekers statement. A joke to lighten things a little. But maybe I should re-think my humor too.

I hope Tim and Lisa get to enjoy the rest of their stay and maybe get a little snow. You guys are in my prayers!

Remember the devourer....he comes to steal, kill and destroy

1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1Pe 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Yes, I knew he was teasing me and that is how i took it. I even added a wink to my reply... Although it is the trurh! I am not offended in the least! All in fun, all in fun.

knows that we constantly have to "dumb ourselves down" just so we can get along with our wives. yes we are always right!!
we don't need help from anyone, we don't need directions, we don't need to ask for directions and we sure don't need our wives giving us directions!!
look... women think they are smarter than us and don't realize how much we have to sacrifice just to keep them happy so there not yelling at us all
the time, do this, do that, don't set that there, pick that up, don't touch that, get that out of here, put that back, go take a bath, i have a headache.... blah blah blah blah!!!!!!!!!
come on, who's gettin the short end of the stick?????? :poke:
ps: i can write/say whatever i want to, my wife's at work!!!!!!!

You just described my husband, to a T!!! Here are your words... "knows that we constantly have to "dumb ourselves down" just so we can get along with our wives. yes we are always right!!

come on, who's gettin the short end of the stick??????" I couldn't have described him any better. And I have MANY friends who describe their husbands the exact same way (except that I don't think they ever tell us to go take a bath, but the rest is a definite!). However, we add a lot more to it. We just put the word "husbands" where you said wives and tack on a whole list of other stuff - and it is the wives who have to dumb ourselves down because most men (I'm sure there are exceptions... somewhere) are such whinie babies. ;-)
