The truly knowledgeable collector would eschew buying this model 'lever press' circa 1890 made by Baumgartner & Co. and select instead the 'Baltimorean' #9 made by J.F.W. Dorman on or before 1885. But could you identify the item, worth thousands of dollars more, if it were staring you in the face at the flea market?
