Couple o' meager digs from the yard today.

Makin good head way with Janets' kitchen rebuild today so at about 1500
she says, " only an hour or two o' daylight left, let's go swing coll "
I was really hopin she'd git her first LC after i cleared all those
wild flesh tearin roses and logs 'nat out o' the way but it wasn't to be today.
She did however git this silver thingy,(below the buckle) from deep beneath a tree root.
We moved out o' the woods and into the edge o' the field where she dug the buckle and dug the spoon handle.

Her silver thingy seems to be silver plated copper. Is that possible to silver plate copper?
Anyone know when plating began ?
Anyone got an ID on the buckle ?
The spoon handle seems to be plated pewter. Is that possible ?
Anyone guesstimate an age on the spoon ?

It wasn't long after that that she had me buldin her a sluice box too
She's a rare freind indeed
