Just fooling around taking a pic of some finds Sunday to give an idea of what you can expect in the way of a macro shot with the Olympus 360L. Good shooting, George

George, you were reading my mind! I wanted you to post a picture at macro setting. Would like to see a picture of some jewelry also.I get a computer magazine called PC World and in the April 2001. They still rate the D-360L the best digital camera under $500.00.

Ive only tried the middle setting so far that gives 36 pics.

You can always either re-sample the image or crop out the unneeded portions of it. Having the best resolution makes up for a lot of other shortcomings us amatuers have befall us... <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)">
If you need some good places to shop for media let me know. One place you can really get some good deals is UBid.com The trick there is to be the very first person to bid. They repeat the cycle every 3 hours and I've bought memory and other items by being the first one in. Just get in a patient mood. If you bid for two you have a better chance too. Then just take the extra one over to Ebay and sell it off for a profit. JUST DON'T ENTER THE BIDDING LATER. Waste of time and you will not get a good deal. If they are selling 4 items and get 3 willing to pay full price if you were first you will be paying at least a discount. Sometimes it is a very good discount. They also don't shut their auctions off at the exact time. Patience... You can win... I never have been able to buy some things because of the demand idiots have for these items. They think since it is an auction it has to be a good deal... NOT...
Good shooting... Guvner..
