I've never hunted with a club. It looks like a bunch of blind people working their way towards the bus home.

on about 35 seconds, a tallman comes along and he is swinging his detector about 50 mph about a foot off the ground :)

It's funny when they talk about there being a professional amongst the ranks :)
 
Were they playing shuffle board or swinging a sickle? I think they could market this as a high impact work out video :laugh:

I think I'm going to miss the next one i think i would pass out but i did laugh my ass off. i didn't even know they did stuff like that Great vid. new way to search for mines.
 
I belong to a MD club and there is a yearly Club Hunt
I participated last year for the first time
Ill help next time because it is a fund raiser but decided I cannot participate again in a seeded hunt
It was no fun and just gruelling going fast and furious
There is something about the mystery in detecting for me and collecting all those silver dimes felt hollow
It actually made the roseys and mercs I found later during wild digs feel less than exciting
I suppose that is what we saw in our video?
And I know there are many who really enjoy the club hunts and I wish them well
That's why there's vanilla and chocolate ice cream :)
