Been fishing and hunting a lot but when to windy went detecting found 47.80 in clad. Silver has been hard to come by 7 coins only neat dog whistle found 6 inches down been making dogs bark at night.Lots of wheats been not doing to bad.Using 6X8 coil only deepest coin 7 inches.Found Elsie the cow pendant can't remember were I put it.I got some good spots lined up just have not had time.

Thanks to Obama Bucks been hunting Right of Ways in older towns who are getting roads resurfacing they already tore up grass ask homeowners they do not care what I do up front.Been to dry to hunt parks or yards got rain tonight maybe good to go this weekend.One spot in a town grass strip was 30 by 70 feet house was for sale,no one living there foreclosed like a lot of houses in ILL.The coins were so thick I did not bother getting up stayed on my knees shortened shaft length next door neighbor came over and told me bunch of drunks use to live there I showed her what I had found.Know any reality agents ?Great way to get a lot of new hunting sites.

My first year at detecting I found nearly $300.00 worth of clad. This was mainly because I went out nearly every day as I had just retired. I decided to slow down and started going for quality more than quantity and finally found some silver and some gold in the process. But I still enjoy coin shooting in the parks just to kill an afternoon. Onus

Great hobby I still like to find clad but I hate zinc pennys I try to notch them out but then I lose some types Indian Heads.When the grass is dead ground dry I go clading with teaspoon,Safari and garrett pinpointer don,t dig pop clad till it rains.We still could use more rain but at least its green again.
