What is the best way to protect the face plate for the Deus. Don't like the silicon..
 
I put a generic cellphone protector over the screen, cut to fit. I mount the remote on the stem and wrap a cheap fold to dollar store sandwich bag around the remote and hold it on with a big rubber band wrapped around the stem. I change the bag every time i charge the remote. Sounds crude but in 2 years of hunting every day in all weather including mud, my remote looks brand new, no dirt around the buttons. The bags are crystal clear and the rubber band pulls it tight. Can't beat it for the price!
