Cracked coils to a tungsten ring

Well I got my Infinium back from Garrett along with a new 10X14 Mono coil. Love that Mono coil,
sure is light compared to the stock DD coil. Took it to the beach, first a nickel, then a penny,
then comes a request to find a lost wedding band in Tungsten. So there I was running along at
twice the speed of a 8 inch Mono because of broader coverage. Found a dime, then some deep
targets, then earphones just screamed a high low. It really sounded like a large shallow target,
but it was the Tungsten wedding ring. Wow was it loud! Upped the discrimination all the way
and the sound was a high low all the way, dropping in volume as the disc went up. Of course
the young couple that lost it were jumping up and down for joy. I didn't have a camera, so no
pix.
Thanks for the repair Garrett and a large vote to the 10X14 MONO.
