crossfire coil question !

hello everyone i recently got a garrett gta 500 ultra with a bad coil plug on my 8.5 inch crossfire deepseeker coil and was wondering i have all the stuff too fix a bad or broken wire now does the boot around the plug slide down so i can get too the wires? or if i cant fix it what other coil will work on this unit? will the cross fire 2 coil work that fits a gtax 550. please help if you can. thank you for your time

Yes, it slides down. Just remove the small set screw, press in the little tab on the side and slide it down. You can switch out the plugs on the 2 different coils and they will work, ID might be a little off. Might as well get the 7 x 10 Proformance coil if you are going to do that. I've done it to one to run on my older GTA 1000 PM and Freedom Ace Plus machines.

It smokes the old Crossfire and you don't have to repair it. A great deal!!!! They run that discount no matter what coil you want!
