Cs 6PI

Hi rick, i've just read your message, what is wrong with the meter? it was working ok when it was posted. Regards, Frank

Hi,Everyone.before I implement any mods on this unit i have.I would like to breadboard a project test unit,
I have all the parts on hand as per Schematic, the schematic here on this forum seems Poor an error prone??
Ive checked other Forums for this same data an again,it seems poor an duplicated of whats here?
So Ive done some preliminary tracing of tracks to match ,the unit I have here an salvage true component values to match.in a non destructive fashion! only colour codes an values, meter readings etc.
I feel I have all the values of components true an now on hand.inc that sweet little 4pin Mosfet, bat diodes,an Jfets.
On checking this working unit ,I find the freq.battery check pot appears dual ganged to switch thru r20 an r30 respectively to pin5 and pin6 of the 4066 IC.
an in other data from forums an schematic is not quite so?
Question is there Different versions of this CS6PI in existance with different PCB an Schematic designs.
Ive found a hand draw copy also with dubias values an tracing in poor quality.
Anybody got some quality data,an accurate schematic.
I dont want to ruin this quality unit ,by pulling it apart in any fashion ,further its a beautiful funtional machine an potential Gold finder!
Hence the reason to Breadboard a new Build to test an develop some Mods!
Any Info would be appreciated,as I know others have been here also, with success in the past. I wished to have placed this post into the Modifications Section but feel it may have been Lost an Ignored due to being PI an old Tech an little interest to most?
regards
ocean
