CS4pi

Never heard of it.
Me either, but no worries. AI to the rescue!

The CS4PI is a high-performance, pulse induction metal detector designed for challenging conditions, particularly beach environments, offering simple operation, deep detection, and robust build quality.

Overview

The CS4PI excels where conventional metal detectors struggle, such as wet, salty beaches. It uses a pulse induction (PI) motion search system, enabling it to detect deep targets without complex tuning. Its “switch-on-and-go” design makes it accessible for beginners while still providing advanced performance for experienced users

I'll be trying mine next weekend to see if lives up to the hype it seems to get......i'll post some pics of the bottle caps, screws and tent pegs i find.😆
And let us know how deep you were finding targets, and if you were on the wet, in shallow water, or on the dry. I noticed the PI has a speaker on the front of the control box, so I assume it's not waterproof? Even so, would still be a potentially great PI to use on the wet and very shallow water as long as you're careful not to drop in saltwater. And the price looks pretty low, very reasonable, which could be a very good thing for lots of guys that have been crying out for a new PI to use on the beach.

Yes,definately will let you know about depths etc.👍

Well its here......and i got quite a shock when it arrived.I ordered the older coil (round coil) version as it was quite a bit cheaper but not only did i get the new coil version,i recieved the rechargeable battery pack and charger,an in car charger,a great quality cscope finds bag, some headphones and a beanie hat and small finds box with the shops logo on it........makes me wonder if they sent out the wrong package.......i haven't even used it yet and im quids in.😅

Sounds like you lucked into a REALLY great deal, lol. It's nice to get unexpected upgrades and goodies, and BTW, that detector looks sweet! I'm an old school, twist a couple of knobs kinda guy, since starting 56 years ago when detectors had 1 or 2 knobs. Can't wait to hear how it works out for you.

Cheers bud......same here,i like simplicity and most of my favourite machines have been pretty old school. The 4pi is certainly simple, very easy to set up......seems almost too simple to be taken seriously in these days of a million tones,50 recovery speeds and endless programs.😁
The coil looks too small lol.....i'm used to swinging much bigger coils on the beach but this is a machine that has to be swung low and slow to get the most out of it so it might encourage me to take a bit more of a professional approach to covering the ground more precisely.
I'm looking forward to see if it lives up to the hype it gets on a lot of videos,i know it will be hard work but i'm willing to dig a bit of iron now and again......certainly beats digging up shards of aluminium all the time.....the iron will make a nice change.😁

How does it separate aluminum ?

I'm Soo tired of digging hundreds of aluminum globes from Drunk beach party goers throwing their cans into the fire.

And Not finding a good coin worth digging.

You and me both Odans.I'm hoping that small thin shards could be eliminated but trying to eliminate bigger blobs may be difficult without reducing sensitivity on thinner section rings.I find so many tiny pieces of ally and it looks like this machine may ignore them while still picking up very thin gold rings so if thats the case it will be a real bonus.
I do think it will ignore bigger bits on the right pulse setting and still easily pick up the heavier rings so if a beach is littered with such 'blobs' it might pay to just search for the heavier rings just to preserve your sanity.I will know a bit more on saturday.....weather permitting.....i will check different settings on any ally found.
