:csflag: Got out for a couple hours today, took some muscle with me...

No, that thing on the ground is not the hubcap that's fallen off my wheel, it's the muscle I was talking about. A 15" Whites coil harnassed to the Whites Blue and Gray detector. All of the easy relics in this site has been dug, there's only deep things left. When I say "deep" I'm talking 12-14". On average, there's about 14" of lomus, sandy soil that sits on a hard packed red clay. The bullets are down sitting on the red clay. I took the Whites Blue and Gray because it actually detects in 2 ways, independently of each other. It is an analog detector. The needle works separate from the audio response; in other words, I can turn the sound completely off and detect just with the needle movement when it locks on a target, and visa versa. You do not swing this coil over the ground, you put it on the ground and use it like a mop or your arm will get pretty sore pretty quick, trying to hold this beast off the ground for a long period of time. I have read where this coil is designed for larger objects and caches, boy was I surprised when it detected this small percussion cap at 4".

Like I said, the bullets were deep.

I was there an hour and got 6 bullets, a silver thingy, a Mercury dime, a broken knap sack J hook, and a pocket knife frame. I continued to detect for another hour and found nothing else. Thanks for looking, Vernon
